permanency specialist - children's aid society
Children's Aid Society of Mercer County is looking for a full time Permanency Specialist to provide various units of services as delineated by the PA Statewide Adoption Network. The Permanency Specialist is responsible for working with clients, families, county caseworkers, and other service providers to fulfill the requirements of the referred unit of service. The position will emphasize both timely, well written reports and one on one client/Caseworker interactions.
A bachelor's degree in a human services field is strongly preferred, although other combinations of education and experience will be considered. Strong written and verbal communication skills are required. Experience is preferred.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.17 - $18.23 per hour
Expected hours: 37.5 per week

The MHP will provide direct in-home mental health services in a team-based, intensive therapy format. The MHP works with a partner to develop and implement treatment plans that address multidimensional levels of service to children at risk of out-of-home placement. At minimum, candidates for this position must have a Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Education, Huan Services, or a related field, and one year of direct service experience in a position that follows the core principles of the PA Child and Adolescent Service System Program.
